Last week, just days after the shooting at the Orlando gay night club PULSE, my friend Eli asked me to help him with a project he was working on. Him and his friend Brandon had just recorded a song to honor the victims of the tragedy and wanted to make a video for it. I of course couldn't say no, so I ran out the door immediately!
We met on Santa Monica Boulevard in the heart of Gay West Hollywood and we filmed dozens of people who wanted pay tribute to the innocent lives lost in the Orlando shooting.
Since then, the video has gone viral and has been shared all over the world.
The song is touching and full of emotion. I can barely listen to the whole song without crying, but it is a solid tribute to the emotions we are all feeling as a nation and as a planet.
I hope you love this song and my small cameo. If you want to see the full lyrics you can head to the YouTube page and find them in the description. You can also find links on how to donate to the families of the victims and other resources as well.
A massive thank you to Eli Lieb and Brandon Skeie fro having me be a part of such a wonderful project.
